no sloppy mom clothes

Alrighty, no T-Shirt today. Decided I wanted to try the button-front and sweater combo. Luckily, it is not snowing here yet, so I could get away with flats. I was also getting pretty tired of wearing boots all the time. I added the silver cuff for a little shine. Overall, I’m liking this outfit.

Today’s outfit is another T-shirt upgrade. Black longsleeve tee, white hoodie sweater, jeans, and fuzzy boots. I think I’m a lazy mom dresser. But lazy doesn’t have to mean sloppy. I do think I’ll be heading back to some fashion blogs, Pinterest, and magazines for some inspiration though. Need to move on from T-shirt and jeans.

I think I’m a lazy mom dresser. But lazy doesn’t have to mean sloppy. I do think I’ll be heading back to some fashion blogs, Pinterest, and magazines for some inspiration though. Need to move on from T-shirt and jeans.

Okay, I think I’ve finally taken a photo I can be semi-proud of. I think the lighting on my face actually works. And my smile isn’t too bad either.

As for the outfit, this was inspired by Pinterest. Black leggings, white tank top, Chambray shirt. I added the belt to give myself a waist and the pearls to add a little class.

Please ignore the cheesy smile in this photo. While I did use the self-timer, Steve walked in and made me laugh. While I tried to retake it, this turned out to be the best one. 

Today’s outfit is another easy one. T-Shirt, Open Cardigan, jeans, and a simple necklace. 

You’ll notice there are a few days missing here and there. That’s because I do forget to take pictures of myself. Usually that’s because I’m wearing a T-shirt and jeans. I’ve decided that’s my go-to. I was very comfortable all day in my black tee, khaki blazer, jeans and scarf. I was also nice and warm in the cold outside. So, not so bad for a regular day.

So this is an outfit I based on a post from a fashion blogger. Hooray for copying :). I was very comfortable all day in my black tee, khaki blazer, jeans and scarf. I was also nice and warm in the cold outside. So, not so bad for a regular day.

Since we’re headed home today, I wanted to be able to travel comfortably but still look good at the craps table. Black t-shirt, jeans, sweater, with my Argentinian necklace. The hat makes this outfit. It was a nice find yesterday in a shop at the Venetian. Had to wear the runners today, my feet and calves are killing from all the walking!

9 Feb 2013 Penn & Teller in Vegas Definitely wanted to dress up for the show, so I brought the blue sparkly pencil skirt. Kept it simple with the white button down, but made a statement with my trench. Borrowed the heels from a friend. You can’t really see it in the picture, but I’m wearing a beautiful pendant my husband bought me while he was in Argentina. It’s a pink stone that I’ve now forgotten the name of. I’m also wearing my charm bracelet and a silver bracelet a d my silver hoop earrings. Snazzy, I know :)

4 Feb 2013 Another snowy day, another warm, comfy outfit. I think today is the first day I’m happy with what I have to post. The plaid button-down with the white tee underneath was very comfy. I emphasized my shape by tying the button-down. Jeans and a black belt to finish it off. I’m not a huge fan of the white belly showing, but I don’t know how to fix that. I’m also rather proud that I took this picture by myself. Not a bad background and I have a normal smile. Hooray to improving!
